Handling multiple courses or educational projects simultaneously?
We know how challenging it is to keep everything synchronized and up to date. That’s why we want to introduce you to a tool designed specifically to make it easier: the Unit Copier.

This feature was designed to help you manage content in bulk across multiple classrooms, optimizing time and ensuring consistency in the educational experience for your students. Ideal for large-scale projects: courses, workshops, training sessions, or any situation where you have multiple copies of the same academic space.

How does it work?

You can copy teaching units from your main classroom (the famous “BASE” or “MASTER”) to all its duplicates with just a few clicks, as long as they share exactly the same description. That is, the connection between master and duplicate classrooms is based on their description matching exactly —without spaces, numbers, or additional characters. This detail is key for synchronization to work correctly.

Keys to getting the most out of it

To access this tool, you must go to Administration, then Custom Tools and finally Unit Management. The system allows a maximum of 100 copies per process to optimize campus performance. If you need to copy more content, simply repeat the procedure. Additionally, destination classrooms must have at least one responsible party with a teacher or tutor profile. Without this requirement, that specific copy will generate an error, although the rest of the process will continue normally.

When copying a unit, all related content is transferred: materials, discussions, activities, surveys, and also the unit’s activation date. Everything is automatically assigned to the responsible teacher defined in the destination classroom, ensuring seamless customization.

A menu designed for bulk project management

This tool’s menu incorporates advanced filters and specific options so you can tailor your experience according to your project’s scale. You can filter by master classrooms, synchronization status, active or inactive classrooms, allowing you more efficient navigation.

The tool lets you choose exactly which units and duplicate classrooms you want to synchronize, giving you complete control over the process. Plus, you can view synchronization status in real time and manage pending tasks from a single location.

This centralization allows you to oversee and manage hundreds of classrooms and projects from a single screen, giving you clarity and efficiency for bulk educational management.

What if I make a mistake?

The e-ducativa platform includes a reversal function that lets you correct any incorrect copy easily. First, access the “Delete units” menu and copy the description of the class or unit you want to delete.

The system will show you a complete list of all classrooms that contain that class. It’s essential that you uncheck the base classroom to preserve the original class and avoid losing the master content. Once you’ve verified your selection, you can confirm deletion of only the incorrect copies.

This safety system ensures you always maintain control over your content, allowing you to experiment with confidence and correct any unexpected situation without compromising the integrity of your original materials.
