New tools to simplify user administration

Managing users across multiple classrooms can be complicated, especially with large numbers. That’s why we’ve launched three new tools that integrate with the features you already know, to make these daily tasks simpler, faster, and more effective.

Deactivate users in bulk

To use it, go to Administration > Custom Tools > Deactivate users in bulk.
This tool allows you to deactivate multiple users at once across one or several classrooms, avoiding the need to do this task manually one by one. For example, when a course ends you can deactivate students who will no longer participate or users who haven’t logged in.

Activate student users in bulk

Access it via Administration > Custom Tools > Activate students in bulk.
With this tool, a webmaster can activate many students simultaneously across different classrooms. Activated users have the “Students” profile.

Example: You can enroll your students before classes begin and activate them all on the day classes start, so you get ahead on work and they’re ready to participate on day one.

Delete deactivated users in bulk

Go to Administration > Custom Tools > Delete deactivated users in bulk to permanently remove users who were previously deactivated across multiple classrooms at the same time.
