What is Edu GPT?
Edu GPT is an artificial intelligence language model designed especially for education.
Unlike generic assistants, it has been configured to understand the language, norms, and routines of the academic environment, providing relevant, safe, and contextualized responses.It is completely integrated into the platform: you don’t need to leave campus or open external tools. All the support you need is just a click away, in the same space where you already teach, learn, or manage.
Where to find it
Edu GPT is available in the top bar of the virtual environment, in two locations depending on your profile:
- In the user view (teachers and students)
It offers three practical functions to support your daily academic experience:
- Assistance with virtual campus use: answers questions about LMS functionality, such as “how do I create a rubric?” or “where do I set up a forum?”, acting as a first level of support.
- Support for academic writing: improves clarity, coherence, and correctness of texts, suggests technical vocabulary, and helps structure assignments, guides, or materials.
- Management of bibliographic references: facilitates the creation of citations and reference lists according to APA, MLA, Chicago, and other standards.
- In the administration view
It focuses on institutional management tasks, with two key tools:
- Support in administration and management of the virtual campus: provides guidance for virtual campus configuration, streamlining everyday administrative tasks.
- Assistance in creating academic content: collaborates in writing and designing educational materials, schedules, or institutional communications.

The integration of AI in the LMS makes sense when it addresses concrete needs. With Edu GPT, we seek to:

Edu GPT is part of educativa and is available at no additional cost for all institutions and users. Its use is optional, intuitive, and respectful of privacy.
You can use it with your own personal ChatGPT account, if you already have one.
How to deactivate one or both features
If your institution decides it doesn’t want to offer this feature, you can deactivate both accesses (the user view and administration view) or just one of them. You must access administration in the Integrations tab.
